By January 1, 2025, your business must provide communications support for your customers and employees as outlined in the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (AODA). To meet the requirements of the act, we have created AODAdocs – an accessible graphic design and premium PDF remediation service.

AODAdocs is not a high-volume, automated service. We deliver quality, not quantity. We focus on the design, preparation and remediation of documents and PDFs to fully meet the PDF/UA and WCAG 2.1 guidelines. But we strive to go further to deliver a truly useful “natural language” user experience to those that need it – a user experience with proper cadence, pauses and descriptive text so that the audio output is as natural as an everyday conversation.

Each PDF we program is compliant with the PDF/UA and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 specifications. And all documents are tested against – and pass – the Matterhorn Protocol using the PDF Accessibility Checker (PAC 2024).
